BOMBAY: Bombay police commissioner has issued prohibitory orders banning processions and assembly of five or more persons from February 12 to 27 in greater Bombay where consulates of the USA UK and five Gulf nations are located.
The commissioner said the ban had been imposed as there was likelihood of various parties and organisations taking out processions to the consulates in the wake of the gulf war
