CHANDIGARH: The union minister of state for home Mr Subodh Kant Sahay did have a secret meeting with the Akali Dal president Simranjit S Mann here last Sunday.
Although the proceedings remain Secret Mann’s move comes as a surprise considering his stand that any further dialogue with the center must include the militants Earlier it was believed that Mann had stood up Mr Sahay after arranging to meet him at a secluded rest house near the city. It is now learnt that Mann met Sahay at his sister’s house. Apparently Mr Mann’s brother-in-law who had set up the meeting was also there for a while.
Mann has not denied the report about the meeting.
