NEW DELHI (PTI): Scales tilted in the favor of former chief minister Virbhadra Singh in Himachal Pradesh and Madan Lal Khurana was swom in as Delhi’s new CM while rival groups in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh vied with each other staking claim for majority in the two hung assemblies, The four states have to constitute a new assembly before Sunday when the constitutional term of the direct president’s nile expires.
The federal cabinet has recommended to president S.D.Sharms, the revocation of president’s rule in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradeshand Madhya Pradesh after a meeting Dec.1.
