Outside 70 Sikh youths of America surrounded the building showing large size placards reading: “India Ambassador A Butcher” “India Ambassador A Hitler-Killer of Sikhs Boycott India Investment Don’t invest in India “No Human Right No U.S. dollar for India.”
Sardar Bhajan Singh Bhuidar confronted him with questions in the seminar after he spoke. Bhuidar asked him about the role of governor of Reserve Bank of India and Krishna Mandi Harshad Mehta in Stock scam. He also exposed violations of Human Rights and told him that through Burtains Bill the Congress of America already knows very much about India and its economy Quoting Ajit Majundar the previous finance secretary of India “we are really on the razors edge right now. If the export-import is not rectified within the next six months we will have another crisis situation.” Bhindar also asked him about Govt’s is roll in demolishing Babri masjid.
Addressing Bhuinder with “Brother Bhuidar who took exception of word “Brother” “How can we be his brother as his hands are stained with blood of my Sikh brothers.” He became furious Bhuinder showed him and the house a large picture of brutal torture of Avtar Singh Shatrana. Ray said that he forgot the case of Babri masjid in Supreme Court Bhuinder asked “where is the Babri Masjid and Supreme Court’s order now?” Ray had no answer and was visibly shaken and nervous.
Hindu participants tried to silence Bhuindar who said we are in America not India where you can hush up a man with bullets.
Ray left the demonstration as the function ended on a dismal note.
