India has been highly successful to project its image as Non-violent “Democratic” and Secular State whereas India has a grisly record of massacring its minorities their religious centers be they Muslims or Sikhs. Even Indian indigenous Hindus called untouchable “Dalit’s” have been oppressed in India.
Muslims being the largest minority in India have been the continuous target of special brutal fatalities. Hindus have not reconciled themselves to the fact of creation of Pakistan even45 years have passed. Anti-Muslim riots killing of Muslims looting and destroying their properties always referred by press and Govt. of India as “Communal Riots.
Fanatic Hindus insist only from last decade that more than 400 years old Babari Mosque in the city of Ayodhya was the place of birth 5000 years before of mythical god Rama whose wife Sita was abducted by Rawan taken to Ceylon across the ocean thousands of miles away but with an army of Monkeys (to whom Hindus believe as sacred) got Rama invaded Ceylon and brought back his wife Sita.
Despite overwhelming archaeological and historical evidence to the contrary Hindus claim that site of Babri Mosque was the birth place of their god Rama.
Even more sinister is their claim over the last decade that all Muslims in India were originally Hindus therefore they should revert to Hinduism. Under their Shuddhi scheme with the help of Hindu politicians and members of Government thousands of Muslims have been forced to convert to Hinduism In the last 10 years Shuddhi scheme has been again revived by Vishwa Hindu Parisad (VHP) in affiliation With “Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh” (RSS) which has been given a boost by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP. This Trio VHP/RSS/BJP exploited the self-developed controversy over Babani Mosque to mobilize. Everyone must read the message of M.S.Golwalkhar the founder of RSS in his book writing these words:
“Minorities must live by the grace of the majority. Only a Hindu could be a true Indian: Those whose faith did not originate on this sub-continent (Indo-Pakistan) are foreigners. Muslims Christians Jews and Parses would have to adopt the Hindu culture”
