BHUBANESWAR (PTI): The chairman of the London based Caparo group, Swraj Paul, has reiterated his resolve to set up the three million ton Kalinga steel plant project at Daitari.
In a three page letter sent to the chief minister of the caste Indian state of Orissa, Biju Patnaik on Nov, 4, Paul said he was now convinced that this was a good project and “it will be sad if some people try to kill it off.”
Referring to Press reports questioning his sincerity i in going ahead with the project, Paul said no one was more committed to build the plant than himself. He requested Patnaik to release the Jeter to the Press so that his position was made clear.
