LONDON: A Gurdwara was at Huns low Middlesex on Nov.15 by the head of the Takht Kesgarh Sahib (Anandpur Sahib).

The shrine built over five years 3.5 million is among the biggest modern and multi-purpose Gurdwara’s in the UK. A three storey structure it has small lakes on either side and flats for providing accommodation to devotees and resident priests. Apart from the prayer hall with a seating capacity of 500 there is a quiet prayer room and facilities for registration of weddings and for learning Punjabi religion and music.
Quarter ton solid wooden doors carved in Thailand and worth Rs 20000 and a 51-feet high Nishan Sahib (religious flag) form the entrance to the Gurdwara.
Members of the Sikh community local MPs councilor’s police officers and various organizations were invited according to President Ranjit Singh.
