BANGALORE: The — Chief Ministers Secretariat and Bangarappa loyalists failed to get Doordarshan Bangalore to interview him on completion of two years in office.
When officials in the CMs Secretariat approached Doordarshan Director Anees-ul-Haq to get DD to have Bangarappa interviewed they were told that it was not permissible under the rules. No amount of pressure by officials and Bangarappa-loyalists could make DD budge from its stand.
DD officials however suggested that they can have the Chief Minister read out a speech which would be telecast.
