Bhai Sukhdev Singh and Bhai Harjinder Singh died as great martyrs for the cause of Khalistan. Their deaths at the hands of Indian hangmen on October 9 will go down in the Sikh history as a new chapter. The event will form a subject of research for decades, Historians will write dozens of books on the two Sikh heroes. Their last few hours have yet to be adequately accounted for. There is no independent version available describing how the two felt and what they said before they became martyrs. It is well known that the Indian administration dealing with Sikh freedom fighters are thoroughly committed to Brahmanism and its fascist ways. It will, therefore, take time before the full facts become known to the world. Fuller accounts of the meeting the two had with their close relations on the event of the hanging have yet to come, True to their wicked ways in dealing with Sikh freedom fighters, the Indian authorities did not even hand over in Poone and were in touch with the jail administration, But this eventuality had been foreseen by the two as Bhai Harjinder Singh and Bhai Sukhdev Singh advised their parents claim but not to insist on taking possession of their dead bodies for cremation according to Sikh religious practices and rites. The jail practices provide that the dead bodies are handed over to the next-of-kin after each hanging. India describes the Sikhs as terrorists and criminals, If that is so, why were the transfer of the dead bodies to the parents of the two dead youths refused? Brahmans know it too well that Bhai Sukhdev Singh and Bhai Harjinder Singh represented a spirit and a cause and were not just ordinary criminals who can be hired to kill and maim for money. They had been inspired by the spirit of freedom and struggle Sikhism teaches its followers. Sikhs regard no sacrifice too great to attain freedom. Starting with the fifth Sikh guru, Arjun Devji, the Sikh gurus themselves took the lead to make sacrifices for the cause of dharma and freedom. Except for a brief disgraceful phase when Sikh leaders shied away from making personal sacrifices, the entire period of the Sikh history is one, long saga of commitment for dharma and freedom and unmatched sacrifices made by the leaders themselves, Thus Bhai Harjinder Singh and Bhai Sukhdev Singh emerged in the Sikh tradition as men of high stature, of great commitment and, in the words of the Panthic committee, true sons of Guru Gobind Singh ji. Their life and message will serve as a shining example of how leaders and the led should conduct themselves in the cause of dharma and freedom, India knows it too well that every atom of the last remains of the two heroes is a precious Sikh heritage and it will inspire new generation of Sikhs to redouble their efforts to free their nation and their land from the imperialist Brahmans.

One may wonder as to why, if India knew all about the Sikh reaction to the hanging program, it allowed the two to be put to death at this particular stage. One reason could be that India wanted to demoralize the Sikh nation in the wake of the killings of several important leaders of the Sikh underground. Delhi does not want any important Sikh leader committed to the cause of freedom to be seen surviving. In fact, the Brahammas refuse to recognize Sikh militants as leaders of the Sikh community. They want to continue their old practice of imposing leaders of their choice on the Sikhs so that this community is held in perpetual chains. But the Brahmans are foolish enough to ignore the vital fact of Sikh life; no leader who seeks to turn his back on the freedom fighters will survive in politics in Punjab. That is precisely why the discredited Akali leaders are not tired of shedding crocodile tears on the martyrdom of Bhai Harjinder Singh and Bhai Sukhdev Singh. This is evident from the fact that the traditional leaders refuse to respect the clear message sent by the two that they should rally round a new program of action being worked out by the Panthic committee leader Bhai Daljit Singh.

Another reason why India was in such a tearing hurry to put to death the Sikh heroes was the fact that the freedom-loving U.S. nation is at present busy in their presidential election. The episode clearly revealed the true nature of the present Indian prime minister: a sworn enemy of the Sikh nation as a whole. ‘This should be viewed further in the light of recent disclosures by an Indian police officer that Narasimha Rao was himself present at a high level meeting in November 1984 which decided against inducting the army to stop massacre of Sikhs. No wonder, this crooked Brahman is in no hurry to punish the Congress (I) high ups involved in the killings of more than 5000 Sikhs in India’s capital alone.

The Poone hangings have a message to the world: the Sikh freedom struggle is unstoppable. It has galvanized the Sikh nation into a fresh resolve to carry on the struggle left unfinished by the great Sikh heroes Bhai Harjinder Singh and Bhai Sukhdev Singh. We at the W.S.N, salute the heroes.
