TORONTO: Chlorzoin invented by two researchers at the University of Toronto kills the bacteria responsible for most cavities and can keep the mouth free of them for mouths and even years, Chlorzoin has been approved for use by dentists. The drug will revolutionize dentistry, switching the emphasis from repairing damage to preventing decay in the first place, said co-inventor James Sandham.
