LONDON,(PTI): The world’s largest yoga convention began here Aug.24 with over 1,000 teachers and disciples from 28 countries learning to live with yoga “as a way Of uniting the body, mind and soul into the sea of conscious ness.”
The weeklong conference is being headed by B.K Iyengar, a 75yearold Yoga expert from Pune. lyengar introduced this ancient Indian art of exercising the body and the mind to the west 20 years ago,
There are an estimated 200,000 Yoga enthusiasts in Britain and about 500 fulltime Yoga teachers training the people the ancient Indian techniques of keeping.
