WASHINGTON, DC: One of the important things that happened during the NGO’s conference at the world conference on Human Rights in Vienna, last month, was the recognition of the unrepresented Peoples and nations of the word (NGOUPN) as a district body and acceptance of their representation in the NGO Liaison Committee. Sajjan Singh Bhangoo was elected as one of the four members to represent the Sikh nations; the other three members represented Kurds, Kashmiris, and Palestinians. During the NGO”s UPN meeting at Vienna it was also decided that the body should have a headquarters to Coordinate activities of our members and explore ways and means to make the NGOUPN a more effective body. An office has Since been established in Washing ton, D.C..at 733 Fifteenth St. N.W. #1100, Washington, D.C. 20005, Phone (207) 6286789 Fax (202) 3930062 with Dr.Gulam Nabi Fai and Dr.(Mrs.) Pary Karadaghi ns chair and chairperson respectively. Sardar Sajjan Singh Bhangoo, the Sikh representative to the UPN has addressed some questions to the Sikh community seeking information and help to make the body more effective. These are published below:

1.Do you know of any NGO which may be relevant to UPN? Please notify us of their names and addresses.

2.Please send me your ideas and Suggestions about making UPN an effective body,

3.Do you have any major activity which you think can help us in pursuing our goal to achieve our cherished objective i.e, Khalistan,

4,.Do you organize or participate in any Human Rights seminars, panels, conference programs, lectures or rallies?

5.lt I suggested that the first conference of all NGOSUPN should be held in Oct.Nov,1993 in New York during the UN General Assembly session, Please send me your commences.
