CHANDIGARH,(PTI):Top militant Bhai Hari Singh, and three other militants were among persons killed in separate incidents in the north Indian state of Punjab.
Hari Singh, an area a commander of the Khalistan Commando Force (Panjwar Group), was killed during search operations carried out by security forces in village Allowal in Amritsar district July 28. His two accomplices managed to escape. One AK-47 assault rifle with (wo magazines and some ammunition were recovered from the scene.
One Makhan Singh was killed when a bomb exploded near his tube well in village Talwandi Jhugian in Batala police district July 27.
Three militants were killed in separate encounters with the police near village Chuhar Chak and Jagraon, both in Ludhiana district, and near village Chatiwind in Amritsar district.
