NEW DELHI (PTI): India has lodged a protest with Iran against manhandling of some Indian embassy staff in Teheran.
The matter is expected to figure during the foreign secretary JN Dixit’s talks with the Iranian officials.
Dixit is leaving for Teheran Tuesday for a two-day visit
An external affairs ministry spokesman described as incorrect newspaper report that the foreign office dithered while the Indian embassy staff’ suffered in Teheran,
The spokesman said the matter was taken up with the Iranian embassy in New Delhi and the government in Teheran.
