Col. Partap Singh, the author of “Khalistan The Only Solution,” was charged under TADA (Terrorist and Disruptive Activities) in May 1991 for declaration of Khalsa Raj Party for the formation of a free and independent Khalistan. Col. Singh was arrested, tortured and jailed in April 1992 on his return to India after the completion of his book, which unveils the atrocities and genocide committed by the Indian government.
A rebuttal by Col. Partap Singh and his family to a recent rumor is as follows:
“A rumor is being spread against Col, Partap Singh that he is a governments agent, Although well respected Sikhs in America have strongly refuted these baseless allegations, Col .Partap Singh has since been contacted and he has unequivocally denied it as lies unbecoming of any person who has the slightest grain of honesty and the good of the Khalsa Panth at heart. His book “Khalistan The Only Solution” seeks value of his commitment and contribution to the Sikh sovereignty. The Colonel was apprehended immediately on his arrival in India and has been kept in police custody for a week. There he was humiliated and tortured (he was blindfolded and hit). He was intensely interrogated by police and CBI He stands committed to the creation of Khalistan.” Transmitted by Mrs. Col. Partap Singh to Dr. P. Singh Ajrawat.
