New Delhi, (PTI) Russia has not   brought up any new conditions in the transfer of rocket technology to India, minister of state for external affairs Eduardo Faleiro told the upper house of Indian parliament on Monday.

Visiting Russian secretary of state Dr Gennady Burbulis, has not conveyed any new conditionality’s on the rocket deal, Faleiro told members during question hour. GG Swell, Hill State Peoples Democratic Party (HSPDP) wanted to know if Russian federation president Boris Yeltsin had insisted on new conditional for transfer of technology under the 250 million US. Dollar deal in view of the U.S. Opposition to it.

Faleiro said the United States was obstructing supply of cryogenic engine technology from Russia to India which was to come under an agreement between a Russian space agency and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

The United States feels that transfer of such technology is violative of the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) and its own congressional laws, he said.
