NEW DELHI: The BIP-RSS inspired move to introduce an “alternative” special syllabi in primary and secondary schools in the four BIP-ruled states drawing heavily from the Hindu mythical past is taking shape and will be implemented this academic yeas. In their preparation of history textbooks, the interpretation of Indias civilization growth will be different from: the existing textbooks. The Ramayan and Mahabharata will not be dismissed as mythological epics but will be taken into serious consideration in the drafting of books.
