NEW DELHE: Delhi police have “sought an extradition warrant are the United States based Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) activist Surjeet Singh Dhaliwal. “Dhaliwal is the man who coordinates the entire militant operations. He is the link between the Punjab militants and their counterparts in Canada, Britain and most importantly, in Pakistan.” “Though his chief Pritam Singh Sekhon is based in Pakistan, it is Dhaliwal who talks with the IST and Pakistani Military Intelligence for planning the operations as well as the supply of arms and ammunition to the militants in Punjab.

He is the seconding command of his organization,” said the official spokesman.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed an extradition warrant against Dhaliwal, whose name figured prominently in the seizure of a huge cache of arms and ammunition from Ahmedabad at the insistence of Manjit Singh alias Lal Singh, who has been charged with involvement in the Kanishka blast case.

Besides, Malkiat Singh Ajnala, the only accused who could be arrested in the abduction case, too, confirmed Dhaliwal’s involvement.
