NEW DELHI(PTI): The Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party last week urged the govt. to act immediately to check what it described as the growth of Muslim fundamentalism in the country in the interest of national security. In a letter to home minister S.B.Chayan, the party’s All India Sceretary J.P.Mathur said there was a “determined move to build a firm Nexus between Muslim politics and PanIskimie fundamentalism.” Mathur said “there is evidence of Strategic Support to such a movement from certain Islamic countries,
He said the “Milli Parliament” held in the capital recently was “another dangerous example of the serious development fostered by Certain Muslim separatist leaders.
