CALCUTTA: Mother Teresa, who is hospitalized in California, “is better now and there is nothing to worry about”, Sister Monica, member of the executive council of the Sisters of charity, said here

Tuesday Sister Monica old PTI from “Mother House”, the Mothers home and the global headquarters of the organization that she had received the information from sister’s of their order from California Monday night. “We are praying for her”, she said.

The 81yrold Nobel peace prize winner, who was on a worldwide tour of facilities affiliated with the missionaries of charity was taken ill with bacterial pneumonia on Thursday during her visit to Mexico. She was admitted to the Scripps Clinic and the Research Foundation in Lalolla, California.

The mother was scheduled to leave for Italy and then her home in Albania, before returning to Calcutta, where she works for the homeless.
