NEW DELHI(PTI): Delhi police March 31 urged the business community to take steps for their personal safety after the abduction of a prominent industrialist Tuesday the third such abduction this month.
No ransom note or call was received by the family members of the 69yearold industrialist K.L.Sehgal, a director of the mother son Sumi systems limited, who was abducted near Delhi Uttar Pradesh border Sehgal was forced out of his mercedes car Tuesday by four armed men while he was on the way to his office in Noida. He was taken away in a Maruti car in which kidnappers came.
Sehgal’s abduction comes two weeks after the kidnapping of industrialist Mukesh Jain whose security guard was shot dead by the abductors.
The businessman returned home several days later after reportedly paying a hefty amount as ransom.
