NEW DELHI: Indian authorities have signed a contract with a pro BJP. Producer to project the party’s views on Bangladeshi immigrants living in the country through the government owned electronic media. Indian prime minister keeps the electronics media under his tight control and it is asserted by political observers that he himself has permitted the contract to be signed with the pro BJ.P. Producer.
The BJP. Last month had planned a public demonstration in Delhi to expel what the party regards Bangladeshi immigrants from India. There was widespread criticism of the move on the ground that it would amount to repeating what happened in Bombay. The Indian government then banned the B.J.P. move but now the prime minister has reportedly encouraged the pro B.J.P producer to air its Views on the government media.
