SAN JOSE, CA: The Babbar Khalsa International salutes Shaheed Bhai Gurdev Singh © Kaunke (former Jathedar of Akal Takhat) who sacrificed his life for the freedom of Khalistan. Bhai Gurdev Singh Kaunke was a deeply religious man.
In a statement Bhai Jit Singh Babbar and Bhai Gurdeep Singh Babbar of Babbar Khalsa International, USA brand said that” We condemn the government of India and Punjab police for killing Bhai Gurdev Singh Kaunke. There is no truth to the fact that Bhai Gurdev Singh Kauke had escaped in handcuffs when police were taking him in a vehicle”. The fact is that he was tortured and martyred mercilessly and later declared “missing” which has long been a favorite trick of the Punjab police.
Bhai Gurdev Singh Kaunke has sacrificed his life preaching Sikhism and promoting struggle for the freedom of Khalistan. We pay homage to this great Sikh martyr.
Babbar Khalsa International condemns the arrest of Sikh leaders Bhai Simranjit Singh Mann and Parkash Singh Badal among 120 others who were arrested when they were trying to attend the Bhog ceremony of Shaheed Bhai Gurdev Singh and a meeting al village Kaunke.
Babbar Khalsa International resolves to fight to the finish to achieve Khalistan, the independent Sikh state and to put an end to the Hindu rule of oppression in India.
