The year 1992 has added another shining milestone to the history of The World Sikh News, In the uphill task of achieving a homeland for the Sikhs, W.S.N. has given a clarion call to the Sikhs in U.S.A. and abroad to reaffirm their commitment their faith and fellows. W.S.N. is committed to uphold the torch of liberty, justice and human rights. Like a mirror, it has been reflecting gruesome and graphic pictures of the Sikhs and Kashmiris, life victims of police brutality and state repression. Consequently, W.S.N. has successfully forged and strengthened an alliance between these two (Sikhs and Kashmiris) upcoming nations in the making W.S.N. has been an eye opener as it has awakened many from their slumber of apathy, shaken their conscience and has aroused their aspirations for freedom. It has also successfully exposed the farcical makeup of so-called (exposed) Indian democracy whose Hindu majority has no qualms in exploiting minorities for their ulterior motives and political millage. This fundamentalism fueled by fanaticism has virtually brought India to the brink of fragmentation and brought disintegration.
