Dear WSN,
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa
Waheguru Ji Ki Fatch
Please accept my heartiest congratulation on the eighth anniversary of your newspaper World Sikh News.
I appreciate the hard work and dedication that your team has shown in fighting for the human rights of people of various backgrounds especially the minorities of India.
The recent events in India indicate a fast and uncontrollable erosion of Indian administration. A newspaper of World Sikh News’s caliber is one of the only ways of communication for the people of India who are being subjected to subhuman treatment by the government.
The deplorable actions like destruction of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib in 1984, the killing of the Sikhs that showed its ugliest form in New Delhi and other parts of India in 1984 and the recent destruction of the Babri Masjid makes it even more necessary for your team to carry on the vigil for the sufferers of this world.
We hope you will continue your fight against the oppressive regimes to protect the helpless and needy people as per the teaching of our great Gurus and Gurbani. Inderjit Singh Bal Member of Governing Council World Sikh Org. of Canada.
