DALLAS: Dallas Independent School District (DISD) has published a new and expanded Ca Jendar in order to encourage American parents and their children to accommodate and learn about great mixture of religions and ethnic groups that comprise the United States. This calendar will be used as a tool by educational organizations and includes holidays and festivals of various religious and ethnic communities. It also recognizes the restrictions and/or requirements that people belonging to various religious groups may have.
