WASHINGTON, D.C: Dr. Gurmeet Singh Aulakh, President Khalistan Council urged the Sikhs all over the world to forge unity at this crucial juncture of the Sikh history. In a telephonic message to the World Sikh News, he extended felicitations to Sikhs on the auspicious occasion of Guru Gobind Singh’s birthday.

He also cautioned the Sikhs against the moves of the Indian Intelligence to divide the com munity. He particularly mentioned about their efforts in engineering clashes among the Sikh youth groups. Intelligence men were trying to infiltrate into youth organizations and their chief target at the moment is the Sikh groups in New York, he said. Sikhs need to be extremely vigilant and must work peacefully within the frame~ work of the law.

He disclosed that Indian Security Forces were conducting a ~ house to house census of the Sikh males in Punjab villages and apprehended a Nazi type slaughter of Sikhs in the near future. He appealed to the freedom loving people of the world to raise their voice against the genocidal policies of the Indian government. Free World must understand the unholy al- lance of India with the Soviet Union and the tragic situation of the persecuted minorities in India, he said.

He also disclosed that Khalistan Council is making all efforts to secure the good offices of the freedom loving countries like U- S.A., Canada, England and others to support the Sikh cause.
