(Manjit group) Mr. Harminder Singh Sandhu has criticized the reported claim of the Union Minister of Home, that there was no child, old men and sick among the 367 Jodhpur detainees. The AISS.F. General Secretary said that the government through its official media was projecting that all detained prisoners were committed freedom fighters, whereas the fact is that nearly fifty prisoners were between the age group of 50 and 60 and an equal number between the age group of 13 and 16, and a dozen were physically handicapped and two ‘women were facing the charges of waging a war against the State.
