WSN Service FARIDKOT: “I can’t say how happy I am” was the reaction of Mrs. Des Raj the mother of Munish alias Manu, the kidnapped 4 year old son of SSP operations Des Raj on being reunited with the child.
The child was kidnapped while on his way to school last week. The mother with tears of joy thanked the Almighty and her well-wishers for the return of her son. Manu himself appeared cheerful and gay. He said he was looked after by four uncles and two nanis (maternal grandmothers). He was provided good food and clothes, he said.
He missed his mother only when he went to bed.
A letter carried by Munish from the KLF again warned against police excesses. The police did not verify reports that some KLF men had been freed in exchange of the little boy.
