Tread with shock the statement by Dr. G.S. Aulakh in your paper about activities of the Indian government in Norway. The statement is incorrect. There are two factions of the International Sikh Youth Federation here. One belongs to Panthic Committee while the other to Jasbir Singh Rode group. Rode group is headed by Gurcharan. The Khalistan group is headed by Baljinder Singh. The Rode group is known for its association with the Indian government.
It is false that there had been any attack on Gurcharan’s life, rather the Rode group had attacked members of the Khalistan group.
Indian government employees are members of the Rode group which is working under the guidance from the Indian Embassy here.
Dr. Aulakh should not have made such an irresponsible statement. We request Dr. Aulakh not to play into the hands of the Indian Intelligence.
