On June 4, 1989 at 4:40 a.m. exactly 5 years after the massacre of the Sikhs are Durbar Sahib (Improperly called Golden Temple), Amritsar, the World history noted with grief another massacre of freedom loving innocent people of Asia at Freedom Square Peking, China. Both these holocausts have similarities, not only of the date and time but also of the follow-up action by the rulers. The Indian Army let loose a reign of terror and killed several thousand Sikhs throughout the occupied territory of Khalistan (the Sikh zone). The Chinese Army has repeated the crimes of the terrorist Indian regime. The fascist Indian regime arrested thousands of the Sikhs and detained them without any charges. The same has been repeated in China.
China several generals and the soldiers with conscience refused to fire at the unarmed innocent students and the civilians. Exactly 5 years earlier, when on June 4, 1984 at 4:40 a.m. some Sikh army official refused to attack the holiest Sikh shrine, they were not arrested, but, they were shot dead. The Chinese army generals are now planning a revolution. The Sikh army men are not sitting inactive. A large number of the Sikh generals are waiting for a suitable opportunity. It is not certain when both these revolutions shall be translated into reality but, it is not far long.
The International community has not reacted likely to both these phenomena. In case of China a large number of countries have imposed heavy sanctions against the Chinese regime and some others are also finalizing the imposition of sanctions. Worldwide condemnation of China has earned thanks of the freedom fighting Chinese. On the other hand there was no direct condemnation of the genocide of the Sikhs in 1984 by the terrorist Indian regime, nor were imposed any sanctions by any government. As a result, India perpetrated more cruelties against the innocent Sikhs.
Why? Why this double standard? Is the blood of the Sikhs water? Why are the human rights of a particular nation sacrificed for trade agreements? Why is the freedom of a nation bartered for a minor business?
If some western countries have, in their mind the concept of the potential enemy, in order to evaluate the freedom struggle of a particular people, then they must bear in mind that Hindu India can never be a sincere friend to the western world. If India buys arms worth a couple of millions, it must be understood that such a trade cannot be a permanent export order for west. So, why should human rights and justice be bargained for a couple of millions?
It should help the freedom fighters in Asia, particularly Sikhs. The Sikhs can be the best fighters against fascism, Communism and terrorism. Amen.
Secondly, some countries may reckon Communism as the basic issue. Agreed! But, then one must understand that the greatest challenge to communism is that from Sikhs and the Khalistan. Even if the whole of the Asia turns Communist (which is neither feasible nor possible) yet, the Sikhs and the Khalistan shall always remain an exception. A Sikh is essentially an anti-Communist.
So, in wake of the real facts and forth: coming situation, the western world is Te quested to review its policy.
