AMRITSAR: A parallel Panthic Committee today directed four militant organizations to provide protection to the people against extortionists.
The directive contained in a statement by “committee” members Dr. Soban Singh, Wadhawa Singh Babbar and Nirmal Singh at a press conference held on the outskirts of the city today.
Describing himas “martyr” the committee called upon the Sikhs to observe his fifth death anniversary by organizing akhand paths.
They said they did not recognize any Jathedar of Akal Takht,
The Sikhs were asked to hold kirtan darbars and offer prayers for the “martyrs” during “ghallughara week.”
