DHAKA, Oct. 5, Reuter: The International Development Association (IDA) is expected.to give Bangladesh 455 million dollars for development projects and to import food during the year ending in June 1987, the BSS news agency said today.
The IDA which is affiliated With the World Bank, is one of Bangladesh’s major sources of development finance along with the international monetary fund (IMP).
The IMF has also promised to give Bangladesh the equivalent of 180 million dollars in special drawing rights and a concessional loan spread over five years’ worth 150 million dollars, BSS said without giving further details.
