He also said that the accomplices of Gagandeep Singh were under the influence of liquor and they entered the Golden Temple with their shoes on. He squarely blamed the S.G.P.C. and the Singh Sahibs for “being party to the dirty game of the government and for acting as its mediums to divert the attention of the people from the main issues facing the nation,” Gagandeeps supercilious conduct is being generally compared to that of late Sanjay Gandhi. AISSF and Damdami Taksaal followers however, reoccupied the Akal Takht and are now guarding it with naked swords.
Meanwhile S.G.P.C, President Mr. G.S. Tohra and Education Minister Mr. Sukbjinder are camping in Amritsar to strike some kind of understanding with AISSF and Taksal. It is learnt that they have suggested the formation of a committee comprising Baba Thakor Singh of Dam Dami Taksal, Baba Kharak Singh, Baba Uttam Singh, Baba Jagtar Singhand Baba Harbans to carry out the task of reconstructing Akal Takht. So far the AISSF workers have not responded to their gestures,
