World Sikh News, has during the span of six years, done a yeoman service for the promotion of Sikh cause outside India.
We, the Punjab Human Rights Organisation and Punjab Sikh Lawyers Council, gratefully appreciate the commendable services rendered by this news weekly in reporting to the world at large about gross violations of human rights in Punjab at the hands of Indian security forces.
It is the only newspaper which has been instrumental in successfully creating a Sikh lobby in the US Congress. Even UN acknowledged WSN reports on human rights violations while issuing a letter to the Indian govt.
