FAZILKA: A father and son were reported to have been electrocuted near the IndoPak border on Thursday.
A police report said today Mr Hazari Lal and his son, Ranbir Kumar, of Khan Pur village in the Fazilka sector were electrocuted when they came in contact with the live iron wire installed by the BSF to check infiltration.
Mr Hazari Lal’s widow alleged that her husband and son had died due to the negligence of the BSF as the wire became live only during the night and the BSF had failed to switch off the power in the morning.
