Sir,

The letter of Dr. Jasbir Kaur under the heading “Samagam” was read with great regret. One wonders what has happened to the brains of some people who call themselves Sikhs yet are befooled and led astray from the real teachings of Gurbani, so easily. Very shallow or no knowledge of Sikh history and Gurbani seems to be part of this problem. The other reasons may be going after easy ways, greed and Haumai.

The behaviour of such people can be described best by just one line from Gurbani i.e.

“Rand Lagi Doojai Bhaai…”

The Sam gams of the Dohra Walas she attended like many other Pakhand Dharis are the get together of Demi Narkdhari of Narkharis alias Niramkari types. The Guru of these people are one called Babu Jaswant Singh a clerk from the Burma police, picked up by (Research and Analysis Wing) (India government, KGB) trained and established by the direct order of Rand Indra, at a time when she ‘was making preparations to plan a cowardly attack on Akal Takht Sahib and forty other Sikh shrines. This babu Jaswant Sinh who claims himself be Guru Nanak (with acockand bull story about a princess of Shri Lanka (Jaswant Sinh’s wife) have other thugs like Balraj Sinh, Surjeet Bidesha, Azad Sinh etc., who have successfully, robbed hundreds and thousands of people. ‘Their tactics include reciting waheguru and misinterpret Gurbani for their own profit. Furthermore to make Sikhs forget about their sovereign status and practice Bipran ki reet.” From the many happenings ‘seen personally in their Samagans it has been said that they preach “love” and practice “lust.” Many things have already been written in Awaze Quam Toronto, Des Paredes, London UK, World Sikh News, Stockton, USA and many other publications.

Alarmed by the influence of these Sajjan Thugs, Sangat from many countries of the world described the horror stories practiced by these Shareeks of Sikh Gurus. The World Sikh Organization wrote to the Jathedar Sahib of the Akal Takhat. Jathedar Sahib wrote back that “these Dodra Walas and other such groups are encroaching at the roots of Sikh faith and the Sikhs be beware of such groups,”

Mr. Surjeet Bidesha wrote a letter to the Jathedar Sahib that “they are preaching Sikhism according to the Rehat Maryada and they want an answer to their letter. In reply Jathdar Sahib wrote that “if you preach Guru’s teachings according to Sikh Rehat maryada then you are ok.” That way they are now promoting themselves to the unsuspecting Sikh public. At one of their Samagam in Montreal they held an Amrit Sanchar ceremony in which a young Dodra wala in his early twenties (we know the name) was one of the Panj Piaras. In these functions they talk about giving love by train loads. A lady in her early fifties took Amritin that Samagam when she and the young Piara were sitting hugging each other for more than half an hour. Later she bragged about the tons of love she received from the Piara and that she was taken back with so much love. So much for the Rehat Maryada. It is surprising that Dr. Jasbir Kaur was taken aback by the Bhai Bandi and Sewa of some Sikh member of this cult in Calgary. She should know that I can give her thousands of examples of ordinary Sikhs (not Dodra Walas) who will go out of their way to help other Sikhs in need of food, accommodation, transportation and money, etc., all with any obligation or Haumai.

The importance of Naam Simran cannot be emphasised and the people who read or listen to Gurbani knows that. The people who do not even know that Naam is what will they know about Simran. We know many places, where Sikh history and Gurbani are taught to children in the real Sikh ways and not the brevetted ways of the Dodrawales.
