A Sikh police officer has been arrested in connection with three bomb blasts that killed 10 people in New Delhi this month, a police spokesman said. His son he said was also involved.

He said Beant Singh, a police inspector, was detained after a raid on his house where bomb parts were found.

A second police officer and two other suspects were still at large, he said. All three come from Punjab, where Sikh militants are fighting for a separate homeland.

Bombs exploded in two Delhi police stations on April 10, injuring seven police officers. A blast in & bus three days later killed 10 people.
