MODESTO: Amarjeet (Sam) Samra, and Mary Samra of Empire (Modesto) celebrated the tenth birth anniversary of their daughter Roni Samra on last Sunday. A large number of the families of the area responded to their invitation. Samra’s house was decorated with taste by Mrs. Mary Samra. The guests were entertained with drinks and sumptuous dinner. Famous Punjabi folk song singer Jagat Singh Jagga entertained the audience with a blessing song.
It is worthy to mention that Roni Samra is a distinguished student of the Empire School. Recently she topped in spelling competition in the 4th grade and has been selected to represent this school in the competition being held at the district level. Samras donated $125.00 to the WSN on this auspicious and happy occasion.
WSN congratulates the Samras and wishes many happy returns of the day to Roni Samra.
