In your January 5, 1990 publication of the World Sikh News, page 2, in the section “For Our Children”, is an article on the great hero Baba Deep Singh. I must take. Issue with the first few words of that article that describe him as a Jat Sikh.
To designate a Sikh as belonging to a Caste is contrary to the most basic teaching to the Guru.
Do we really want our children to understand our great past in such a light?
