Sir,

The Sikh Panth is going through A Most difficult time. Time has Come for the Sikh leadership to follow the example set by Bhai Mani Singh, Baba Deep Singh, Nawab Kapoor Singh, S. Jassa Singh, Baba Phoola Singh, General Sham Singh to name a few. No more Sant Fateh Singh, Longowals, Barnalas and Tohras.

For the solution of any Panthic Problem there is a set system called Sarbat Khalsa, as it is the duty of Khalsa Panth to guide the Sikh Nation in the right direction. After Guru Gobind Singh Ji the power to decide the course of action was bestowed upon the Panth (Sarbat Khalsa). Decisions whether religious or political were taken by Sarbat Khalsa

Routine meetings used to be called twice a year one on Baisakhi and the other on Divali at Amritsar at Akal Takht Sahib in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This type of meeting (congregation) is called Sarbat Khalsa. All the controversies were solved by this procedure.

Representative Khalsa would come to Harmandir Sahib, once inside they used to forget all the rivalries and controversies. Every problem had to be solved unanimously.

All attending this congregation had to after an early bath in the sacred tank say their daily prayers, and then attend kirtan at Harmandir Sahib. Then with clean and sincere minds sat under the holy auspices of Guru Granth Sahib at Akal Takht Sahib thought of the good of the Panth. In case after long and strenuous discussions a decision could not be reached which had to be unanimous then a further procedure had to be adopted.

This decision was taken by five beloved ones (Punj piaras). The selection was made from the congregation. One name was proposed from the congregation by a person in case there was an objection against him, he was then dropped and another name proposed. The selected person proposed a second name if there was no objection then they both proposed third name so on. In case of any ‘objection they would humbly and graciously withdraw not like what we see here whether one is following not even the basic Sikh tenets insists to become a president of the Gurdwara because he is rich he has to be a leader.

Now the five chosen ones task the decision. First Ardas then Hukam from Guru Granth Sahib and then approval by the Sangat by Jaikara. As they now had the trust of the Sarbat Khalsa, they would go up at Akal Takht in the court of Guru Granth Sahib. The problem facing the nation is to be discussed thoroughly and decision has to be taken unanimously. That decision by the Jathedar is announced in the congregation which is final and binding. The congregation again approves this with Jaikara.

Now this decision is given to the Jathedar of Akal Takht, who has to put the stamp of Akal Takht and issue the order of the Panth as Hukamnama,

In view of the present situation facing the Sikh nation this is the only way to guide the Nation through these difficult times facing our nation. Nation has to go on fighting for their right of freedom. Do not think change of government is going to give you this on a platter. Do not forget the BJP of Hindu, Hindi and Hindustan is there. Beware of communists like Surjeets and the Congress tools in the form of Sikhs.
