BHOPAL, Madhya Pradesh: Protestors agitating against the extension of the policy of reservations of jobs and seats in educational institutions for scheduled castes and tribes enumerated in the constition, observed strikes, stopped traffic and burnt their degrees in different places in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Parliament in its session concluded Friday extended the reservation policy for another 10 years.

Durg city observed a total strike when the anti-reservationists taking out a rally and forcing shops to down their shutters. One person ‘was injured when students indulged in stone throwing.
