LUDHIANA: Sant Paramjit Singh of Mahilpur is likely to be appointed Jathdear of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib Anandpur Sahib.
According to sources close to the SGPC the decision in this regard has been left to Mr. Jagdev Singh Talwandi President of the UAD and Akal Takht Jathedar Shai Darshan Singh.
Sant Paramjit Singh met both of them here and reportedly assured them that he would abide by Akal Takht directives.
The post fell vacant following the assassination of Mr. Balbir Singh Jathedar of Sri Keshgarh Sahib in December last year.
