Amritsar — Tension prevails in the Golden Temple complex area following the blocking of the entry of a local municipal corporation van by the SGPC authorities to the road dividing the Golden Temple and the residential buildings of the complex on Thursday morning, according to police reports here.
Heavy security force had been deployed in front of the SGPC complex gate at the northwest end of the road.
Municipal Corporation has laid claim to the road inside the complex in order to segregate Sumandari Hall, Nanak Niwas, Akal Rest House and other buildings from the Golden Temple complex.
