As a college student who is interested in the religion and politics of Sikhism, I have recently come into contact with your newspaper.
I have found your articles to be enlightening, they have taught me a great deal about the intricacies of Sikh culture and religion. Further more, your newspaper has broadened by knowledge in regard to the human rights offenses taking place in Punjab and the need for an independent Sikh nation.
I also realize that, as the only current Sikh publication, you rely on the generosity of your readers. I would therefore urge the Sikh community to contribute financially to the World Sikh Newspaper, so as to ensure the continuance of it’s publication. This newspaper stands alone as a forum in which Sikhs may express their concerns and rebut the verbal swipes aimed at them by other Indian publications.
I genuinely believe that the importance of the World Sikh Newspaper should not be underestimated or taken for granted. It deserves it’s readers’ support.

Dear Editor.
I have been reading your esteemed paper. It brings awakening among the Sikhs. It is a really good moral food supplement for westernized Sikhs. They all need spiritual Bhojan. You are doing a great service to Sikh community. Congratulations.
As an humble gursikh, I wish to make a submission, before you, and all your management staff. I have noticed that on the front page of Punjabi section, you have printed Shloka’s from Sukhmani Sahib Many Sikhs in the west are not aware of the real value of Guru bani. The status of Gurubani is higher than even the seat of President of U.S.A.or even any living saint, sant or Mahatma. Sikh history tells us, that after compiling Shri Guru Granth Sahib, Guru Arjun Dev respectfully placed the Guru Granth Sahib on a Palang, and from that day onwards he slep on floor. At Amritsar all old Nit-Nem Gutka’s or other Gurubani books are collected, and once a month taken to Goindwal Sahib for a respectful cremation. These are not mere rituals, as some westernized Sikh may say. We must give respect to Gurubani, as Guru Arjun Dev ji gave & Guru Gobind Singh ji told us. So some Sikhs/their children may throw the used news away without regard for the sacred text.
