Guru Nanak Foundation of America (GNFA) held Jap Ji Sahib Recital contest on Aug, 19, 1995 at the Gurdwara Sahib, There were four age groups of children: 57; 811; 1215; and 1621.
Forty children participated in the contest. The Sadh Sangat comprised of the participants family and friends, those who encouraged the children, There was a distinguished panel of 12 judges. ‘The program was started by Ardas and Vaak.
