New York: Nine New York Sikhs reportedly met Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on October 24 to pledge their personal loyalty to him. Rajiv had gone to New York to participate in the 40th Anniversary of the United Nations. Those who met him include Sant Singh Chhatwal, D.S. Bagga, S.S. Malhotra, N.S. Sethi, Dr. Uppal, Mr. Goomer, Mr. Ghuta, Dr. Chandan and Mr. Narinder Singh. Most of them were reportedly involved in the presentation of Saropa to Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi before the ‘Operation Bluestar’.
