GUWAHATI: Fifty journalists of Assam including Dainak Asom editor Prafullah Barugh, were arrested by the Assam police when they raised slogans and staged a dharna in support of their demand for the release of two journalists arrested under terrorist laws. ‘Manjit Mohanta and Rajib Bora of the Sentinel group of newspapers were arrested by the Indian intelligence agencies for their alleged links with Assaamese nationalist organization.
