VIDISHA: Five people, including four members of a family, were killed and five others seriously injured in a powerful explosion at Village Tilhai, 40 km from this town in Madhya Pradesh.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when an explosive material, stored in a three story building, went off.
The impact of the explosion was so intense that the building crumbled and some nearby houses were also damaged, police said here Wednesday.
Splinters from the explosive material were strewn over a 200 ‘Square meter area, police added.
The injured were admitted to the government hospital here, police said.
