Police in Pune have arrested at least 121 people in incidents of violence set off by the assassination of Former Army Chief Arun Vaidya, the Press Trust of India.(PTI) reported today.

In New Delhi, Junior Home Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad told parliament that Vaidya had been provided with round the clock armed security since April 16. It is unfortunate that despite these arrangements the incident occurred, he said.
